Universal movement joint covering profiles in thermal insulation system – ETICS.

Material:

• EDPM rubber

Features:

• Can be used with movement beads E and V type;
• Aesthetic finish of expansion joint;
• High resistance to UV radiation and extreme temperatures;
• Extends life of expansion joint detail;
• Universal use in straight and corner sections.

Application

• Following application of the expansion profiles (ideally ALB-EM-V40-25 – corner; ALB-EM-E40-25 – flat surface expansion profile) insert the plug in the profile.
• To enable the plug installation and sufficient hold in the profile make a 15 – 20 mm wide gap.
• If the expansion joint is too narrow or not ideally straight it is recommended to facilitate the plug insertion in the corner with a hard object with an upright edge – such as a wooden plank etc.
